Hoppy Easter

Well, I did it. I hopped on the Blowfish bandwagon and bought the Garren wedges I've been spying around the blog world. They are even more dreamy than any photo could ever portray - and incredibly comfortable. Methinks I'll be spending my entire summer in these babes, so get used to it!

Time to watch my nightly episode of 'Modern Family' and crunch away all the sweets I consumed today.

Waterloo

 

Aside from being one of my favorite ABBA songs, Waterloo proved to be a very fun day trip! Mom and I drove up to visit my brother and dragged him along for a few hours of thrifting. We all had success at 'Stuff, etc.' and I was doubly impressed with their organization!

Yesterday was a very casual outfit day, but I wanted to showcase my glow-in-the-dark Dwolla shirt! I find myself wearing this at least 3 times a week and, admittedly, not washing it very often. Rest assured, I do smell the armpits before putting it on.

Look! I'm blowing smoke... 

It's a very blah day (as my title describes), but I had a few photos to post from a family dinner on Tuesday. It was my brother, Nick's, birthday and he doesn't particularly enjoy sweets, so I ordered his complimentary dessert for myself!

Woohoo! It feels AWESOME to have my taxes done and know that I have a refund coming. I'm super tempted to buy these Jeffrey Campbell sandals...thoughts? Beforehand, my dad and I went out for lunch and had some time to spare so I made him take a few photos at Valley Junction. I love this part of town - tons of cute shops and a fantastic Farmer's Market during the Summer months! 

The weather is perfect today, which I better enjoy, because there is a chance of snow later this week. I guess I was slightly premature in putting away my cold weather gear.

I'm Back!

After an eight day long hiatus, I am back! Last week I felt pretty unmotivated and wore sweatpants a lot. I've even lost my photo editing touch a bit - forgot to round the edges and include outfit details within the pictures. But, I'm definitely not going to go back and do it all over. I'll get back in the swing of things, promise!

Question: Well, first some background, then the inquiry. I have two really great pairs of BDG jeans from Urban Outfitters, but I wear them all the time and they are getting slightly worn in the...inner thigh area (overshare?). Anyway, they fit really well and have a lot of stretch, but don't ever get baggy. I'm super picky about skinny jeans, but I'm going to need to buy some new ones soon. Something I've noticed about BDG jeans is that they all fit differently, so I don't trust ordering them online. Anyone have suggestions for affordable super skinny jeans?

Tea Party

After your fantastic input, I styled my thrifted blouse with the pleated skirt. My mom and I went to a tea party yesterday, so I decided to switch up some of the original details to make the look a tad dressier. We  stopped at the local park for a quick shoot - I have always loved this train caboose!

Without planning, mom and I matched pretty well! She was all too excited when I offered to take a few photos of her - isn't my mama darling?!
